Derusty builds tools that put a real person in front of your actual work. Someone who has done the thing, who can watch what you are doing and name the one detail that changes the next month of practice. No model scores your form.
We are not an AI company. We build with heavy AI assistance, and this site was largely written with it. What we sell is access to people. The moment a product here could be replaced by a machine doing the same job worse, it stops being worth building.
One product at a time, and only where having a person look at your work is the whole reason it exists. BuffUp is the first. Dancers get their practice video marked up by real teachers. It is live in pilot and free, and it is deliberately unfinished in the places where we do not yet know what people need.
There is no second product yet. When there is, it will be somewhere else entirely. A different skill, a different set of people. It will show up in the empty slot on the home page.
